Swift
"Catching
Gamma-Ray Bursts on the Fly"
The Swift probe is designed to swiftly point sensitive
optical, ultraviolet and X-ray telescopes at the sudden,
fleeting and intense gamma-ray bursts that have been a scientific
mystery since their discovery. Here the Swift probe is in
the
clean room of Hangar AE prior to fueling and encapsulation into
its
faring for flight.
